Friends of Mora Association

About the FMA

The Friends of Mora Association (FMA) is managed by a voluntary committee of parents and staff, who work together to raise extra funds for the benefit of the children’s creative learning and academic development, whilst at the same time, bringing together the whole school community to have fun, socialise, and make Mora great! All parents, staff and governors are automatically members of the FMA and are very welcome to come to our events.

What we do

We organise popular events throughout the year, like cake sales and the Summer fair, aiming to promote diversity and community spirit within the school as well as being great fun for children and parents alike!

The FMA are now registered with an online fundraising site, called easyfundraising. It's completely free and easy to use. Please sign up and help raise funds for our school!

What we have funded

With your help, we have raised funds that have, amongst other things, helped children attend school trips, given them great outdoor play equipment and playground markings, lights for the stage which they can use for their assemblies and shows, a new projector and screen for the main school hall.

How you can help

The first way is very easy! Turn up and buy delicious cakes at our cake sales, come dance at our discos, and have fun at the other events we run throughout the year!

The second way need not be any harder! We can only run with the help and generosity of volunteers, and any help (no matter how small!) is extremely welcome. If you'd like to help out in any way - from baking a cake or selling tickets at pick-up one day, all the way through to helping plan one of our events, we'd love to hear from you!
