School Meals

At Mora Primary, we understand the importance of providing nutritious and balanced meals for our students. Our school meals are designed to meet the dietary needs of primary age children, ensuring they receive the essential vitamins and minerals necessary for their growth and development. Our catering teams works closely with nutritionists to create menus that are both healthy and appealing to young appetites.

We offer a variety of meal options each day, including vegetarian, and all meat products are halal. Our aim is to encourage children to try new foods while enjoying their lunchtime experience. We believe that a well-fed child is more focused and ready to learn, so we strive to make mealtime enjoyable and stress-free. All meals are halal. 

 We also hold themed lunch days multiple times a year, such as Spanish day and Christmas lunch.

Free School Meals

Free school meals are provided universally to all children in England who are in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2. Free school meals are also available for children in Years 3 to 6, whose families meet a set criteria. 

Did you know the government gives additional funding to schools for those children entitled to free school meals?
