History at Mora

The history curriculum aims to inform children of previous historical events, encouraging children to become historians during lessons, employing the skills that these professionals would need to study their chosen topic. A range of resources and activities are used to enhance the teaching of history including trips, ICT, artefacts exploration and using subject specific equipment. These activities give children a greater understanding of their topics and they love getting their hands dirty! 

Teaching is stimulating, exciting and inclusive for all, providing children with key life skills such as teamwork, empathy, communication, language, thinking and independence skills which develop children both academically and socially.
